The Chef Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was actually spicy and I loved it. I ordered this to-go so the wide noodles were packaged separately from the broth and it was still piping hot by the time I ate it back at work. There's not as much beef as I had hoped but there was surprisingly some ground beef or maybe pork at the bottom so that was a nice surprise. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the dish itself was a bit pricey delicious.

Delicious tomato egg noodles. Noodle texture was absolutely on point . Would order this again, wish it was actually a slightly bigger portion.

Stopped by for noodles while exploring the Plaza and after a long day of tufting at the studio nearby. I'd opt for noodles every day if I could - and 1919 Lanzou Noodle just made it to the top of my favorite noodles now! I got the Chef Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with extra wide chewy noodles and my boyfriend got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup with regular noodles. We also ordered the Vegetable Roll Pancake to share. All 3 items were delicious and a perfect end to our fun day. My noodles were bouncy, soft, and the wide width made it more enjoyable to eat. It was so filling I got to take half home to enjoy for another meal. This chef special did really make me feel special because the spicy level was already perfect for me - just spicy enough to take my taste buds for a fun time but not too spicy I'm jumping out of my seat. It was my first time having the Vegetable Roll Pancake dish. It had a fluffy texture with the green onion Pancake as the Roll, and a cruncy potato filling on the inside. The service and warm atmosphere of this restaurant made our meal even more enjoyable. They speak Chinese here, too! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here and we'll definitely be back!

My party of six came for a late dinner after watching a movie at the AMC around the other side of this outdoor mall. We came upon 1919 Lanzhou Noodle Express and decided to have a late dinner. The restaurant specializes in fresh handmade noodles and dumplings. The broths are boiled a long time to obtain that delicious bone broth taste. We ordered three condiments that go well with the soups and noodles: gizzard, pickled cucumbers, sliced sausages. We each ordered a dish and then asked for bowls to share the dishes, family-style. The soups can either be non-spicy or spicy, we had both. The noodles are really quite delicious, and the pork dumplings with chives were superb. I highly recommend this place for a good meal. All the dishes tasted delicious. It is a nice quiet place for a date, too. Parking was available when we were there for both the movie and for dinner. Try out this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

It's a rainy Monday and felt like getting something brothy to compensate for the cold. Decided to order 1919 Noodle to-go and it was a good choice! Ordered the Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodle Soup along with cucumber salad. Noodles tasted really fresh and broth was pretty flavorful and salty. Cucumber salad was refreshing to pair with my meal. Would come back next time to explore more of the menu.

We decided to give 1919 Noodle Express a shot since there was a comfortable amount of patrons and we pleasantly surprised. the biangbiang noodles with chili oil topping (13.99) were quite good. They were flavorful, but without the intense punch that I expect. The spice was light, but still present. The noodles were chewy and delicious. I've had biangbiang noodles that were so drenched in spice that it hurt for a week and I was glad to see a more mild version. The special Dry Beef noodle (15.99) was a classic. It came with fatty beef chunks and a sufficient amount of noodles. It's a bit expensive considering how common this dish is in the 626. It was good, but nothing too special. We also added a cucumber salad (5.99) to get more fiber in our lives. Good seasoning and portion. Though some of the pieces were a bit mushy in the end. In general, a nice casual spot for dinner. $20 is a bit much per person, but these are times.
